Drawing Room Art: Blue/Green Edition

February 11, 2011

Our drawing room project is well beyond inspiration and closing in on installation. The art, however, remains a question mark. We’ve considered fiery pieces, black and white portraits, neutrals, and black and white objects and landscapes.  Today I’m mulling over the blue/green spectrum.

All lovely-how can you go wrong? I’m partial to a couple of those seascapes, so calming.

Oh wow, these are all beautiful pieces. I love the interior shots, especially the one by Michael Himpel – almost like you’re creating a room within a room. Beautiful and serene colors too. The woman with her back to the viewer – wow, that’s striking too. How do you choose? Ha.
