Anyway, onto the matter at hand.  Has your intended recipient read these books before?  If they are over 13 and mildly literate, then yes, they have.  But have they ever seen or felt such sumptuous hard cover designs? Doubtful!  Which makes a set of these the perfect gift for the Reader with Persnickety Aesthetics.  Best part: no ugly jackets to discard.
